Waterview Loft at Port Detroit

Located in the center of Downtown Detroit, the Waterview Loft at Port Detroit offers breathtaking waterfront views of the Detroit River along with the city skyline. Your ceremony site options include the Waterview Loft itself with floor-to-ceiling windows or the indoor Conservatory for a more contemporary style. The Waterview Loft is great for larger ceremonies as well since it can accommodate up to 400 guests. The downtown Detroit wedding venue has also won a variety of awards including Wedding Wire’s Couple’s Choice and Detroit’s “Best of Hour”.

Colony Club Detroit

Not only can the Colony Club accommodate both large and small weddings, it’s also a historic downtown Detroit wedding venue. First opened in 1929, you’ll have access to the team’s full hospitality services including on-site catering, premium bar and convenient parking for you and your guests. The Third Floor Grand Ballroom is ideal for larger ceremonies with room for up to 400 guests while their Fourth Floor Petite Ballroom can accommodate 150 people.

The Whitney

For an unforgettable Downtown Detroit wedding, The Whitney mansion is known as “America’s Palace”. With 22,000 square feet, 12 dining rooms and lush gardens, The Whitney can accommodate 10 to 400 guests in its variety of event spaces. If you’ll be marrying in the warmer summer months, we recommend an outdoor ceremony in their spacious gardens with the grand building as your backdrop.

The Masonic

Bring your downtown Detroit wedding venues vision to life at The Masonic in its vintage indoor event spaces. With room for up to 600 wedding guests, there’s also a variety of ceremony locations to choose from including its Crystal Ballroom with classical Italian decor, the Chapel which is a replica of London’s Westminster Abbey and more. The Masonic’s flexible event space allows for a dance floor, several tables and other necessities for your special day. You’ll also have access to their in-house catering, bartending services and more.
