While many couples have chosen to postpone their weddings due to recent events and limits on large gatherings, many have also opted to go virtual. Not only can you plan a virtual ceremony for your special day, you can also host a virtual shower, bachelorette party and more! Here are just a few of our favorite virtual bridal shower games for you and your guests to enjoy:
Bridal Bingo
Bingo is one of the most popular bridal games and probably the most familiar as well. This is great option if you’re looking for something easy with no complicated rules. Create your own set of digital bingo cards to send guests before the shower. You can leave them blank and have them fill it in as you open gifts, or fill the card with some fun options like “has known the bride for more than 5 years” or even something as simple as “has a sibling”. Don’t be afraid to creative with it and have some fun!
Name That Song
‘Name That Song’ is also a relatively easy game to prepare for a virtual bridal shower. To make the game more on theme with your special day, we recommend choosing your favorite love songs instead! Create a playlist of your favorites on a platform such as Spotify to play for your guests. Only play a part of the song, up to 30 seconds, and have them write down their answers to hold up to the screen. You can also play by whoever can guess correctly first wins the game.
Scavenger Hunt
With so many of us stuck indoors these past few months, a scavenger hunt is a fun way to test people’s searching abilities in their own homes. It also doesn’t require much (if any) pre planning on your part except for choosing a list of items for them to find. Simply call out random items such as a blue pen, white socks, a bottle of wine, etc – and all guests must run through their homes and find the item. Whoever returns back to their screen the quickest with their item is the winner!
Couple’s Trivia
Everyone loves a great game of trivia. Not only is this a great way to learn some fun facts about the couple, it’s also more interactive with guests having to write down their answers. Create your own list or find a cute template online to fill in some of your best trivia questions such as how he proposed, the location of their first date or their honeymoon spot. You and your partner can be the judge to see who knows you both the best! You can also do a game of trivia with fun facts about only the bride as well.
