The bridal shower can be one of the most fun parts of your wedding, getting together with your best girlfriends and family to celebrate your special day! With so many venues to choose from throughout Michigan, here are some of our favorite bridal shower venues in Detroit to help narrow your search.
La Dolce Vita
First established in 1995, La Dolce Vita was named “best patio in Detroit” by several local magazines including Metro Times. With an “eclectic menu of regional Italian cuisine”, the restaurant will tailor your bridal shower to suit your own style and tastes. La Dolce Vita has their outdoor patio available, as well as their banquet room that can accommodate up to 60 guests. There’s also catered brunch and dinner menus available depending on what time of day you’d like to host your shower.
Detroit Foundation Hotel
“Forged from the city’s former Fire Department Headquarters”, the Detroit Foundation Hotel keeps that same old school charm with exposed brick, earthy tones and natural light throughout. Its fifth floor event space has beautiful sweeping views of the city and an outdoor terrace. The space can hold up to 80 guests with a plated dinner and dance floor, or up to 120 guests if you prefer a strolling dinner. The hotel also has audio and visual capabilities if you or your friends and family have a slideshow or any type of media to show during your bridal shower.
Roast
Known as Detroit’s “finest steakhouse”, Roast is available for bridal showers in the evening hours starting at 5 pm every day and closed on Sundays. Their State Room can accommodate 11-18 guests while their Window Room can seat 19-36 guests with window views as well. Roast also has two menu packages available so you can choose the items you like best for your shower.
International Banquet Center
Home to events such as wedding receptions, conferences and more, the International Banquet Center also makes the perfect venue for your bridal shower. The center has space available for any size reception you have planned, including their Grand Ballroom, Beaubien Room with views of Monroe Street below, and the French Quarter for a more formal setting. They also have full menus available for your shower along with the ability to customize your meals as well.
