BRIDAL STYLIST

The Wedding Shoppe is a fulfilling career where you help a bride-to-be purchase the most important dress she will ever wear in her lifetime.  It’s about listening, problem solving and creating an experience she will want to tell all her friends about.

Helping a bride find her wedding dress is like putting together a puzzle.  Each piece of information she shares with you helps you get closer to the perfect wedding dress.   And when she says “yes” you will get emotional with her because you are so honored to have helped her find it.

To be successful in this position you must be emotionally intelligent.  You must approach every situation with a servant heart.  You need to listen to what is said, and more importantly, what is not said.  You must be able to read people very quickly, understand their point of view and have empathy for them.  When things don’t go quite right you need to possess the confidence and experience to professionally navigate the situation and help the bride find a solution without management intervening.  Planning a wedding is very stressful and they expect everything about us to be perfect.  A joyful wedding dress shopping experience is in the small details.

We are looking for team members that are available 7 days a week with no scheduling conflicts.  Being a bridal stylist means working nights and weekends when most of our brides are out searching for their wedding dress.

GUEST LIASION/SUPPORT STAFF

This is not your typical receptionist position. The Wedding Shoppe is a fulfilling career where you interact with brides, members of her bridal party, friends and family. It’s about listening, problem solving and creating an experience she will want to tell all her friends about. The experience starts at our front desk. Every guest you meet in person or over the phone needs to feel appreciated and celebrated.

Duties include:
– Effectively manage the reception area of a very busy bridal boutique
– Answer phones and schedule appointments
– Confirm appointments
– Take payments over the phone
– Assist clients into their gowns
– Must be proficient on the computer and learn quickly (we use a POS System)
– Sell fashion and bridal accessories
– Perform inventory when needed
– Cleaning and organization
– Must be able to remain in control during stressful situations and help clients remain calm and confident throughout the alterations process.
